VR and AR are big in Central Florida.

Central Florida has the ingredients to establish itself as a virtual and augmented reality hub.

That’s because several university programs, a strong gaming community and manufacturing training sites could push toward that.

As more industries come around to the technology as an effective training tool, Orlando’s potential will grow.

That’s good news for Orlando.

Why?

We are home to large tech companies like Lockheed Martin, which develop VR-related technology.

Also, our video game development community has been growing in both size and cohesion.

Finally, schools like Valencia College have advanced manufacturing programs that will train in VR.
