Two companies focused on simulation and training technologies have announced a strategic partnership.
Wisconsin-based Dedicated Computing, which provides embedded computing systems, will create integrated XR flight simulation products alongside Maryland-bsaed Vrgineer’s Orlando team.
Vrgneer develops virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) technologies with a connection to Orlando, will collaborate to create integrated XR flight simulation solutions.
The partnership will see the companies jointly develop and market bundles that combine Vrgineers’ XR headsets and flight simulators with Dedicated Computing’s high-performance computing platforms.
The goal is to provide portable and scalable ultra-immersive training environments suitable for various settings, from classrooms to deployed locations.
Vrgneers CEO and cofounder Marek Polcak said the partnership will enables the firm to deliver fully integrated extended reality simulation solutions that meet high standards for performance and mobility.
Dedicated Computing CEO Phil Spivey said the deal will provide customers with seamless, pre-integrated solutions for agile and immersive training environments.
Dedicated Computing’s USA-built platforms support extended reality environments, including flight simulators that simulate real-world physics and sensory feedback. The company’s latest series features a compact and rugged design with high-performance Intel processors and NVIDIA GPUs.
Vrgineers’ Orlando operation is a client of the University of Central Florida (UCF) Business Incubation Program, located in Research Park.
Orlando has been leaning into its strength of fostering innovative technology companies.
Vrgineers specializes in advanced, TAA-compliant virtual and mixed reality headsets and pilot training simulators.
The companies plan to showcase their offerings at industry events throughout 2025.
