Less than a month after a groundbreaking and historic opening of its newest theme park world, Orlando-based Universal Studios executive Dang Ly will be in Orlando for a panel on the experience economy.

The panel, “Experience Economy: How Technology Is Shaping the Next Generation of Immersive Experiences,” will be a key feature at InfoComm 2025, a professional audiovisual trade show.

Ly takes the stage on Wednesday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at the Orange County Convention Center.  Universal’s CTO Ly is expected to share insights from the theme park industry.

“The creation of immersive experiences is increasingly central to engaging audiences,” said Jenn Heinold, SVP of Expositions, Americas at AVIXA, which hosts the show. “The professional audiovisual industry, supported by technology, delivers advanced visual and auditory components for these environments.”

She said the panelists, including Ly, “are positioned at the convergence of immersive experiences and technology.”

The panel will come just weeks after Universal’s successful debut of “Epic Universe,” which brought global attention to Central Florida.
